Strata-G Received the Honor at Annual Small Business Summit in D.C.

Knoxville, TN — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced Knoxville-based Strata-G as the Dream Big Small Business of the Year. The Awards, presented by MetLife, celebrate the achievements of small businesses and honor their contributions to America’s economic growth.

“We are honored by our selection as the Dream Big Small Business of the Year and dedicate the award to our employees who have embraced our core values of integrity, service and quality, and to our clients who give us an opportunity to serve them.” said Dan Hurst, President of Strata-G.
The Dream Big award comes with a $25,000 grand prize that Strata-G will invest in a collaborative matching grant to two existing outreach partners, Knox Area Rescue Mi nistries and Westview Community School. “We want to build on the strengths of both organizations to bless children and families in Knoxville challenged by homelessness and poverty,” Hurst said.
Ms. Christel Slaughter, Chair, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council, presented the grand prize to Hurst at the Dream Big Awards Gala at the U.S. Chamber’s annual Small Business Summit in Washington, D.C., on October 16, 2019.
