Knoxville, Tenn. – Taziki’s Mediterranean Café will be celebrating its recent remodel to its current Bearden location by partnering with Young Williams Animal Center this weekend – Friday, April 12thto Sunday, April 14th.

Taziki’s will also be hosting a Snuggle Delivery on Friday, April 12thfrom 3-5pm outside the entrance where customers are welcome to pet and cuddle puppies provided by Young Williams Animal Center.
The new direction for Taziki’s recent remodel is centered around a deeper enduring sense of happiness or what the Greeks call ‘eudaimonia’. Community tables establish a welcoming environment for conversation within the exposed stone and painted white shiplap adorned walls.
Shades of bright white and deep ocean blue are present throughout with hanging wicker lanterns. Natural lighting from multiple windows complements the feeling of happiness, warmth and comfort. A signature ocean mural emits a calm, refreshing vibe as customers make their way through the space.
The new remodel also features intricate pieces of art from Greece, which are designed to tell the story on how the Taziki’s brand originated and how it was named “Taziki’s” after the founders took a trip to Greece.
“The idea of this remodel is to make the customer’s experience at Taziki’s light and refreshing while incorporating a European feel with a modern setting,” said Robynne Connell, Director of Marketing, Stokely Healthy Foods. “Eudaimoniais Taziki’s new ambiance, which essentially means the state of being healthy, happy and prosperous. We want each of our customers to feel like Taziki’s is a pleasant escape from their busy lives and a place where happiness meets serenity.”
Taziki’s menu is known for its Mediterranean styled recipes with a southern flair. All meals are prepared daily from more than 100 fresh produce items as well as more than 60 herbs and spices flavoring the food; including freshly grilled meats, original sauces, healthy side dishes, and vegetarian and gluten-free options.
