First Tennessee Bank, member of the First Horizon National Corp. (NYSE:FHN) family of companies, which includes Capital Bank, announced that Chester L. Sharp, Sr. has been promoted to vice president and business banking relationship manager for the East Tennessee region. He is based in the Knoxville main office.
Sharp brings 17 years of banking experience to serve the East Tennessee region. Specifically, he will focus on providing deposit, mobile and online banking, cash management, lending, and investment services to business clients in order to help them achieve their financial goals and objectives.

A native of Jackson, Tenn., Sharp most recently served as a financial center manager for First Tennessee Bank in Jackson for the past two years. He is a 2001 Cum Laude graduate of Lane College where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Sharp is also a 2006 graduate of the Paul Barret School of Banking at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN and a 2007 graduate of the Paul Barret School of Banking Commercial Lending Academy. He received his Master in Business Administration from Bethel University.
Among Sharp’s many recognitions is being named to the Forty Under Forty list by the Jackson Sun and Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce in 2014. He is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Jackson.
