Six Knoxville Chamber member businesses received recognition last week on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America. The annual report looks at the percentage growth of privately-held firms from 2014-2017, and all 2018 honorees grew by at least 50 percent over that time.
Eighty-five Tennessee businesses made the 5,000 company list with Knoxville-based Priority Ambulance ranking highest for the region at No. 521.

Priority Ambulance reported 965 percent growth from 2014-2017, ranking ninth in the state of Tennessee and highest among Innovation Valley area businesses. Headquartered in Knoxville, the company operates approximately 400 service vehicles and employs over 2,000 people nationwide.
Reporting 393 percent growth in three years, Axle Logistics is a third-party logistics company with a focus on providing safe, reliable and advanced transportation services. The 2018 Pinnacle Business Awards finalist services clients throughout the continental United States, Canada and Mexico.
