Recode is about to get real. The second draft – including draft maps with proposed new zoning – will be discussed at a series of meetings in August. Recode is the name of the MPC-led effort to create a new zoning code for the City of Knoxville. The second draft is available on the Recode Knoxville website.

The Stakeholders Advisory Committee meeting at 10 a.m. Aug. 2 at the Main Assembly of the City County Building. The Knoxville Chamber will host a workshop on the second draft, city maps with proposed new zones, and the process moving forward at 8 a.m. Aug. 21.
